Tanya and Roreigh’s wedding at the Brighton International has been my longest wedding shoot to date. I’m not complaining at all, I got to photograph this amazing couple from the start of their day, right up until the end; what more could I ask for! It started off with the getting ready part at their house in Brighton, followed by, in my personal opinion, the most exciting part of the day, the first look, where Roreigh got to see his bride for the first time before the ceremony. The Botanical Gardens was a brilliant setting for this event. Unconventional yes, but it made for great photographs. By having the photo session before the ceremony we could spend more time with bridal party for photographs and they could have the ceremony and reception back to back.
On the way to the ceremony we were able to stop off at the Brighton Pier, an icon of the area and special to Tanya and Roreigh. The rest of the day was kicked off by a ceremony with many tears of joy, followed by a cocktail style reception full of dancing well into the night.
