Who is MV Photography?
I am Marcel, a sole trader based in Ferntree Gully photographing weddings all over Victoria. My skills come from years of experience with 35mm film and clunky old SLR cameras with manual control which taught me how to visualise a photograph before it is even taken (no LCD screens on the back of cameras in those days). It also gives me a structured approach to wedding photography and combined with a quirky and modern style you get fun loving images that ooze creativity and flair. No ‘say cheese’ moments here, just a pure reflection on the couple’s personality and love for each other.
With 15 years plus in the customer service industry I put the customer first. I only photograph a select amount of weddings per year to allow me to concentrate on your wedding specifically with little distraction. What else do I do you ask? I also act as a second photographer for many photographers in the wedding industry and they do the same occasionally for me too, I also take on private photographic commissions and sell limited edition landscape prints.
That thing they call a ‘Mission Statement’
MV Photography provides a great value service with a personal touch. You are not treated as ‘just another wedding job’ as we will be best of friends at the end of the day and I adjust my style to suit your personalities and passions. I can cater to any need with a great range of wedding photography packages and stand alone printed products to choose from, because there is nothing better than seeing the best day of your lives in print.
What I can do for you…
There are no time limits on your packages, just predetermined coverage of your wedding day or celebration; so if you want a three hour photo session at two or three locations, I include it. I am there to capture the love, the celebration and the fun. You get the Digital Files on DVD regardless of what wedding package you choose and you have your proofs delivered right to your door. I also come to you for consultations to chat about your vision for the wedding and show you my photographic and print samples. As I don’t operate a studio either in the home (at this point) or on location I don’t have the large overheads associated with studios and I provide you with more services for your dollar.
I service Melbourne CBD, city fringe, Dandenong Ranges, Upwey, Ferntree Gully, Belgrave, Lilydale, Eltham/Greensborough, Frankston/Mornington areas, Yarra Valley/Yarra Ranges and Inverloch/Wonthaggi areas. I am also available for private commissions including Wedding Engagement Photography Sessions, Magazine Style Vehicle Shoots and Business Photography (products, services, premises and staff).
Take a look through my site and follow my blog to see what kind of photos I make and feel free to contact me on marcel@mvphotography.com.au. I want to tell your wedding day story.

I give thanks to
My wife Belinda for building and maintaining the structure of this website, helping me out with my accounting, being my assistant on jobs, being patient while I work on personal projects and while I wait for the right light at a cold and remote location at an ungodly hour, my friends and family for their encouragement and support, all the peeps part of the SAWPB & SAAWPB group on Flickr for the advice over the years and to you for visiting. Also most importantly, my wonderful clients, without them I wouldn’t have a business at all!
